GA Drilling strengthens its position in approaching UK market. PLASMABIT milling application got into the next technology readiness level and is getting ready for commercialization. As of February 1st GA Drilling has opened its Bristol office for designing a final bottom hole assembly for oil & gas industry.
Bristol Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) team is to be a part of New Product Development dpt., lead by Milan Pavlovic in GA Drilling Headquarters in Bratislava, Slovakia. An expert focus of the Bristol team is mechanical design engineering, electrical engineering and project management. In a long-term perspective, the team’s scope has to expand to field operations as well.
“In addition to very challenging work and products we are developing, the existence of GA Drilling Bristol office will help us to attract experienced professionals from the oil and gas industry. This will also help us to efficiently interview candidates, staff our new product development projects faster and accelerate delivery of our products to the market,” said Milan Pavlovic, head of New Product Development Team GA Drilling.
GA Drilling has started hiring senior engineer positions for the Bristol team, addressing experts with BHA development experience in the top oil & gas companies from the region. Entrepreneurial approach and “can do” attitude are advantageous characteristics of an ideal candidate. At the very beginning, the team members are expected to visit Slovak headquarters in Bratislava to acquaint with the company and the technology, thereafter, they will be perpetually based, Bristol.
