ASFEU – Plasmothermic Processes
One of the results of the project was an innovative demonstrator that was able to generate plasma uniquely in the laboratory and was able to drill with plasma through several critical types of rocks that are typical in the drilling of deep boreholes. During this project, we have opened our unique technology centre.
On February 9th, 2011 GA Drilling implemented a project entitled „Applied research of technology of thermal plasma processes” along with its partners, the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry at Slovak Academy of Sciences and the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava.
The goal of the 36-month project is a research of electro-plasmatic system of the disintegration of materials with plasma-thermic processes, research and implementation materials for plasma-chemical processes of plasmatron and research of processes of plasma exposure on rocks.
